Crash Festival, Abermule – August 5th & 6th, 2011
The organisers of this year’s Crash Festival are already working hard to make this year’s event bigger and better! Following on from the success of last year’s event, Abermule will again play host to one of the largest Mid-Wales open air music festivals.
Crash 2011 has undergone a complete facelift. 2011 sees the event being held over the complete weekend of the 5th and 6th of August with camping on site and a new dance event on the opening night.
Saturday’s “Battle of the bands” competition is being replaced by a free band section, providing bands from all over Mid-Wales and the boards with an opportunity to shine. There will be some of the hottest bands from the local area and around the UK, with more music and more festival goers than ever before!
There will be a brand new dance tent to kick things off on the Friday night with all forms of Dance / Trance / DnB and Happy House being played well into the early hours, headlined by none other than SONNY WHARTON! Camping is also a new feature this year with a family area as well as a “Mini” young people’s village.
As always, Local business will be well represented with Monty’s brewery showcasing the best of their beer and cider on tap – as well as a fully stocked Festival Bar and a wealth of foodie stalls and vans.
The other attractions have also had a makeover and are bigger and better - with a paintball arena, bucking bronco, and kids area with bouncy castles and kids activity centre! furthermore, the site will be made a lot more contained with more tents, stalls and marquees (In case the weather turns wet).

More details can be found on the festivals official web site at www.crashfestival.co.uk

We're looking for hard working enthusiastic people to volunteer at this year’s festival. A great opportunity to get involved and experience the festival, with a few perks. To find out more, email: crashfestival.co.uk

Crash Festival is not for profit. All money goes to making sure the festival can run next year and everything over that is donated to the community centre and to help groups around the local community.
