Festinho is having fun, doing good.
It is partying in magical woods, sitting around bonfires, laughing, lazing in hammocks, feeling the grass between theirs toes, watching dragonflies, cloud-watching, enjoying proper caipirinhas, singing in the shower, falling in love, watching the stars, making a difference.
And while we’re busy doing all of that, we’re also raising desperately needed money for street Kids In Brazil; 100% of our profit goes directly to the ABC Trust (www.abctrust.org.uk).
All acts have been lovingly hand-picked, whether they are playing on the Main Stage (set in a Grade II listed walled garden), the Rave Up in The Woods, the Harvest Stage or the Clocktower. There will also be entertainment roaming on site as well as plenty of bars, stalls and wondrousness in the beautiful woods around the house.
To help you make the decision on where to camp this year, our lovely friends at SoulPad® are coming back with a lot of goodness like the fact guests can arrive to a ready-pitched pre-purchased SoulPad® bell tent ready for their arrival. On top of all that, The SoulPad Village™ is expanded to include affordable rentals, a bit like a festival hotel.
Angel Gardens will entertain your little angels.
With a huge choice and a crew of 40 volunteers and professionals, Angel Gardens consists of around 20 bell tents of various sizes each holding well planned workshops and activities as well as a dedicated welfare point. They also have a large tent that is festooned with sari’s and cushions that acts as an indoor meeting place, with games and dressing up box.
For those of you who came last year, you’ll know they bring the best in children’s fun, like facepainting, bath bomb making, drumming workshops, ‘bling your welly’, a fire show, talent shows, and plenty more besides. And they’ll be bringing their special kids-only loos, plus a tea shop and a brand new beautiful caravan!
Finally, this year’s fancy dress theme – ‘Heroes’
Festinho wouldn’t be Festinho without the love and imagination of our guests and performers; and we wouldn’t be here at all this year without more than a touch of their heroics! So to celebrate, we invite guests and performers to come dressed as a hero, whether that’s a comic book or telly-land character, their mum, their dad, a historical person, a fictional character or even a creature.
