Details

The Gower Rock Festival is back for its 4th year in the making! Now a full three day festival, it once again boasts a line up that will make Michael Eavis froth with envy. This year’s line up includes Headliner’s; the loveably scruffy indie rockers ‘We Are Animal’, playing on the Saturday night, fresh from their visit to the South by South west festival in Texas and European tour, this is not to be missed! Friday headliners will be ‘Dirty Revolution’, these ska-diff reggae-rockers have been ripping up the live circuit and are sure to leave a mark in the Gower! The Sunday headliner is local favourites ‘The Mudskippers’, guaranteed to dance the festival to a close. From Cardiff are The Keys, The Method, and Houdini Dax, Signed to Psych - indie label See Monkey Do Monkey Records, Definitely three bands to keep your eye on in 2011. Other confirmed acts include the ever popular Ringolevio, now gigging regularly in London and soon to be releasing their debut EP. We welcome back The Blims for the third year, a festival favourite. Bristol movers The Funkensteins will be performing on the Friday night along with local punk-folkers Galanastra and Midlands based skankers The Stiff Joints. Other acts include Rugfire, Nucleus, The Gentle Sea, Sera and the Elements, Lights and Clockwork, Bigfoot, Weird Naked Indian, Last Tuesday Society and Jets to Zurich. The Acoustic stage will run on the Saturday and Sunday and will include Andy Jones, Alba Vida, Chris woodman and Thistledown. Plus many more over the two days.
