Henry’s Little Big Gig is an exciting new live music and ale festival based at the infamous Henry’s Campsite in the Lizard, Cornwall. The three-day festival, running from September 23rd – 26th , 2011 celebrates Cornwall’s creative talent, in music, beer making and much more. There will be performances from a wide variety of artists including Back Beat Sound System, 3 Daft Monkeys, Braga Tanga, Ambassadors of Sorrow, Gwelhellin Goth, Panda Su and more. Alongside the music on the main stage, festival goers are asked to bring a musician in their party in the hope to inspire a creative exchange with open mic and jamming sessions throughout the weekend.* There will also be a variety of workshops where campers can partake in activities such as guided walks, yoga, alternative therapies, drama, dance, storytelling and green arts and crafts. The festival beer tent will be selling a variety of real ales from Skinners, Wooden Hand, Choughs and Dartmoor Brewery, and more.

The festival promises to be a fantastic event. Based at Britain’s Most Southerly point, the family run campsite has a very unique atmosphere, with secluded pitches amongst exotic plants, rescued animals and local art. The Lizard Peninsula itself, is a haven for wildlife and home to some of Britain’s rarest plants as well as England’s first breeding pair of choughs in over 50 years, making it the perfect escape.

Tickets:
Weekend tickets cost £59 per person and includes camping and access to all the live music and workshops.
Day tickets cost £12 per person but do not include the workshops. Day tickets will be on sale from September 16th
* Tickets will be available to none musician parties from August 26th.
