Before we know it November will be upon us, and by popular demand............so will this festival......

Solid Entertainments is delighted to announce that Ilfracombe Blues, Rhythm and Rock Festival will be returning to Ilfracombe Holiday Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10th, 11th, 12th November 2017!

Following the great success of last years festival, this years line-up had to be even more special and with three blockbusting headliners; The Pretty Things, the Blues Band and Snakecharmer, plus 16 other very different, but striking bands in the line-up, this will undoubtedly be another great festival and a weekend not to miss!

The full line-up over the three days is as follows:

FRIDAY

The Pretty Things – Eddie Martin – Southbound – Mark Pontin Group – Split Whiskers – The Ryk Mead Band

After more than 45 years of continuous service, The Pretty Things remain a significant, challenging force in rock and roll. Despite their veteran status, their contemporary relevance, undiminished energy & inspirational commitment inspire emerging generations of new artists and young fans, whilst retaining their devoted, fanatical, core fan base

SATURDAY

The Blues Band - Zoe Schwarz Blue Commotion - Simon McBride - The Joe Anderton Band - Saiichi Sugiyama Band - Backbone Blues Band

What does a great, lively musical tradition demand? Discipline, devotion, passion and love. Whether it’s Beethoven or B. B. King, Howlin’ Wolf or Handel, it all sounds better with a huge helping of skill, virtuosity and feeling. So when it comes to the Blues, aficionados of the genre can relax, because with The Blues Band, their music’s in good hands

SUNDAY

Snakecharmer - Crow Black Chicken - Xander And The Peace Pirates – Rainbreakers - Elles Bailey - Albany Down - Grizzly Rhys Morgan

The British hard rock supergroup Snakecharmer was originally founded in 2011 by former Whitesnake/David Coverdale members Micky Moody and Neil Murray along with the perfect mix of high calibre musicians including Laurie Wisefield (Wishbone Ash), Harry James (Thunder, Magnum), Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath live), and Chris Ousey (Heartland)

When this calibre of artist get together, festival goers can expect to see top class live performances and hear a range of incredible sounds, with sets that incorporate a creative mix of original new material and a few classic numbers that many will remember!

Situated in a beautiful part of the country, the holiday park has been extensively refurbished by the new owners and with fully furnished apartments ranging from one bedroom to as large as three bedrooms, there is everything needed under one roof, including:

Two Heated Indoor Pools - Sauna - Fully Equipped Gym - Indian Cuisine & Takeaway - Free WiFi in the Clubhouse – Launderette - Bar Meals - Store On Site - Restaurant & Takeaway

With accommodation for the weekend being just a short walk away from the music you won’t need to worry about booking that taxi to take you home or to a hotel at the end of each night. Also - car parking is free for the weekend - so you don’t have to worry about where you leave your car. So whether you’re local to North Devon, travelling from the other side of the country or overseas to be with us, you’ll only have to focus on the music and enjoying yourself. No need to search for food and drinks on the day either, there will be a range of alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, real ales available and a varied menu that should meet everyone's taste!

If you fancy a stroll into Ilfracombe, to maybe see world renowned artist Damien Hirst’s Verity sculpture in the picturesque port – you’re situated only minutes away. Alternatively, if you want to chill out (literally), why not have a stroll on one of the many fine and award winning beaches in and around the area, with secluded coves and wide stretches of golden sand and crashing surf.

The festival will take place in North Devon’s largest entertainment venue at Ilfracombe Holiday Park, Marlborough Road, Ilfracombe, Devon EX34 8PF
