From a small party with a burning car to a popular, well-regarded new music festival (with a burning car), Leopallooza has been a constant labour of love for the four organisers and their close crew of friends who help out, all of whom do it for nothing more than the love of a good party.
Completely independent, fairly-priced and with core values which have helped shape and focus the direction of the festival since the very first event over 7 years ago, Leopallooza has garnered and nurtured a significant, passionate following from it’s attendees.
Leopallooza was recently named one of the ‘Best Boutique Festivals’ of the summer by The Guardian, and was described as ‘one to watch’ by The Independent. It won the Clean Slate ‘Best Festival in the South West’ award in 2012, and it was also shortlisted as the ‘Best Small Festival’ and ‘Best Grassroots Festival’ at the 2010 festival awards.
Leopallooza is, essentially, a festival created by festival fans, and this informs the whole event:
The stages in the main arena alternate and the audience don’t have to walk long distances to visit the next stage. Queues are rare, the toilets are kept clean and food & drink prices are purposely kept low.
This year, Leopallooza is proud to play host to the only UK leg of the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour.
