The festival is a celebration of the city’s excellent food and drink offer – from high-end restaurants to quirky cafes, local producers to exceptionally talented chefs, the event showcases the diversity of the Liverpool’s hospitality scene.

Liverpool has a growing reputation as the modern food and drink capital of the North West. Not only does it host a variety of highly successful weekly and monthly food markets but the city is also home to bars and restaurants which are acknowledged as akin to London-standard eateries.

Celebrity chefs visiting the festival have included Marco Pierre White, John Torode, James Martin, The Fabulous Baker Brothers, Paul Hollywood, Tom Kitchin plus a host of regional talent, including Paul Askew and Aiden Byrne. Satellite events are scheduled to take place during Festival week, either in venue (bars and restaurants) or at innovative, creative locations such as
