LodeStar 2012 is shaping up to be another great Summer success!
3 days and 3 nights to enjoy the most exciting line up of hot new artists and this year a bigger mix of genres, late night DJs playing euphoric tracks, fun comedians, drama of theatre, trickiest circus acts, dress for the risqué-st burlesque, colourful market stalls including vintage clothing, tastiest food, chillest camping area and the warmest atmosphere.
From Friday 31st Aug to Sunday 2nd Sep, held on vast flat fenland, 15mins from Cambridge city centre on one of the best weather weekends of the year!
2011 Line up
Last year’s line-up included headliners CSS, The Datsuns and The Magic Numbers, supported by Cage The Elephant, Worship and many more.
Tickets
LodeStar tickets will be on sale from Friday 30th March - get in quick for amazing value early bird deals!
Free tickets for 0-14 year olds (tickets still must be booked online & under 14s must be accompanied by an adult).
Free optional camping & campervan/caravan space when you buy a 3 day ticket.
Tickets can only be purchased through the official LodeStar website.
There will be no late ticket offers this year.
Vibe
When discussing the creation of Lodestar, organiser Doug stated "My inspiration for LodeStar is the thought of people coming together and sharing a moment in time of great music and good times". In comparison to many family festivals it is seen as very relaxed and chilled, it is universally praised for it's affordable price both in the cost of the ticket and the cost of food and drink on site.
History
LodeStar is now in its fourth year and 2012 looks to be the best yet!
Festival Director Doug Durrant has held a vision from his teenage years of staging a festival on the land his family have cared for and worked on for four generations. The inspiration for LodeStar is the thought of people coming together and sharing a moment in time of great music and good times!
