Listed as one of the NME's top 30 festivals and the Guardian's Top Ten Independent Festivals to visit in 2009 as well as being hailed as a 'mini Glastonbury for the North' in the Cool Camping Guide to Festivals, Moorfest 2009 was the best one yet and 2010 aims to top this with more excellent, inspiring and exciting acts, more interactivity and art, more of that lush n lovely Yorkshire landscape and, quite frankly, with more fun than you can shake a stick at. Who we are and what we do...
Moor Music Festival is organised by a small group of pals who have a love and a passion for music, creativity, camping and countryside fun. Moor Music Festival is about bringing together all the things we think make a good party and a great festival: brilliant music, fantastic people, gorgeous food and a beautiful location, its a refreshing reminder of how a festival should be. A grassroots festival which has grown organically over the last five years, our attention lies on an emphatic love for music, arts and creativity, being thoughtful toward the environments we play in and enjoying the stunning West Yorkshire countryside with all who want to play there with us.
