Off The Tracks Festivals are offering even better value for money in 2012, after making early bird tickets available for the first time.
The discounted tickets are now available for both Off The Tracks Festivals in 2012 (Spring May 25-27 and Summer Aug 31-Sept 2). The weekend tickets are priced £55 for adults and £30 for 12-16 year olds, including camping. Admission continues to be free for under-12s.
Festival director Andy Cooper says: “Like us, we know that everyone’s affected by the economy which is why we’ve taken the decision to reward the loyalty of our festival goers, who come back to us year after year.
“Many people who came to our 2011 Summer Festival said it was the best atmosphere they could remember for a long time, and we’re working hard on line-ups for next year which will reflect that expectation. We’ve also had many people who tried rival festivals in 2011 coming back to us, saying they much prefer what Off The Tracks offers.
“For the first time in our 24-year history, we’ve had to introduce a charge for parking and live-in vehicles, which can also be booked and paid for in advance at any point, to help spread the cost. But even with that in place, most people who also buy an early bird ticket will still be paying less for Off The Tracks than they did in 2011.”
Details of the 2012 Spring line-up have yet to be announced, but Andy adds: “People know what to expect from Off The Tracks and that’s what we’ll deliver. We’re a genuinely independent festival with a reputation built over many years, using local suppliers and making a genuine contribution to the local economy.”
Once again the festivals will take place in a beautiful Derbyshire countryside setting at Park Farmhouse, Isley Walton, Castle Donington.
In 2011, Festivals For All said: “OTT is one of the most precious, intimate, creative, and friendly festivals FFA has ever had the pleasure to review; populated by one of the most diverse and musically knowledgeable crowds around – it’s like a blisteringly good weekend long house party...... those very nice people at OTT give you, dear festival goer, two opportunities a year to become your own little piece of a truly magical jigsaw.”
eFestivals said: “This event really does tick most of the boxes that need ticking for an amazing festival. There's a lovely informal atmosphere here with many folk returning year on year, whilst the great line-ups ensure that plenty of people are drawn here from far and wide for the first time.”
Off The Tracks have also announced that their 2011 festivals raised more than £2,100 for Oxfam.
