Anna said: “There’s a fantastic blend of world class acts and a huge variety of workshops and activities packed into the day, so you’ll never be short of something to do or experience!

“The festival grows in popularity every year and this year is no different, which is why we are encouraging people to get their tickets before the day!

The festival’s popular workshops will be returning to give people the opportunity to try wood carving, African drumming, pottery, Belly dance, circus skills, salsa dance and story telling by Kelly Kanayama, plus there will be a dedicated play area for smaller children.

The festival will be happy to welcome back Munya who will be making Zimbabwean flavors of sadza, meat and relish and Sunshine catering who will be making hotdogs and burgers, Norfolk Ice cream cooling everyone down with the locally made ice creams. The bar this year will be run by The Mudeka foundation with a strong support of volunteers and trustees. Proceeds will go to support HIV and Disadvantaged children with education in Zimbabwe.

Members of the board, including Anna herself, recently embarked on a trip to Zimbabwe to check on the progress of the foundation-funded school building project and meet with some of the children in the 5 schools benefitting from the money being raised.

Anna added: “The money being raised is already making a huge difference to children’s lives, but there are so many ways in which they can benefit from our support, which is why fundraising activities like the festival are so important.” The Mudeka foundation will have a stand with all the information about the charities work.

Tickets cost £20 with overnight camping, to raise more money for the foundation there will be a choice of a fried breakfast at £5 per person on Sunday.

Day tickets cost £15 for adults and £7 for children aged 6-16 years. Younger children go free.
