About
Join us at Torq ~ Eat, Torquay’s brand new event celebrating the very best in local food, drink, arts and crafts. Situated between the picturesque Torquay harbourside and Cary Gardens, this prestigious location provides the perfect place for Torquay’s food fair to grow and develop.
This area attracts over 3,000 per day on a busy bank holiday weekend. Open from 10am – 6pm Torq ~ Eat is the ONLY place to be over the May bank holiday weekend!
In addition to stands we’ll be providing street entertainment, children’s activities, and the renowned cookery theatre, sponsored by Caterfoods, with Richard Hunt from the Grand Hotel and guest chefs offering a busy programme packed full with entertainment.
New for 2013, we are introducing the Torq ~ Eat Restaurant Trail, which will run during the build-up to the food fair. Guest will be treated to a special menu offering a range of delicious locally sourced dishes
