2000trees was born out of our general disillusionment with the mainstream music festivals we’ve been attending for the last decade. Six friends increasingly frustrated with ever spiralling costs, poor facilities and pursuit of profit at all costs.
To us, festivals should have less commercial emphasis; and instead be about a love of live music and having a great time in a sunny field!
The name 2000trees reflects our desire to promote green issues and awareness, particularly the threats from man-made climate change. We believe it is our social responsibility to have as little negative impact on the environment as possible.
We are not interested in genre distinctions. At the 'TreeHouse' main stage, the Leaf Lounge and the GreenHouse, the music will range from rock to indie to folk to metal to pop, to the down right strange! The only thing we want is for you to have a great live festival experience.
There are two full days of live music featuring over 50 acts, plus VIP early entry for the first 500 people to purchase early entry passes, entitling them to an extra evening of music and camping under the stars.
