After its wildly successful debut on 28th May 2022 we are over the moon to announce the return of Newcastle’s flagship taste-maker event, A Stone’s Throw Festival, to the beautiful Newcastle coastline this May 25th! After establishing itself on a national scale in 2022, AST continues its pivotal journey introducing new talent to hungry new music fans.

Steering the festival home this year are indie favourites and hit makers Sundara Karma, who shared a few words expressing their excitement to be back and headlining AST this year:

“The Newcastle date on our headline tour at the end of last year was definitely one of the best, so we’re very excited to be back in the North East headlining A Stone’s Throw festival at the end of May!’” – Sundara Karma

Sundara Karma will be accompanied by musical innovators Bilk, Gengahr and Pip Blom alongside over 50 of the freshest new talents spanning the country and afar, with a final line-up announcement on the way…

Back in 2022, AST saw coffee shops, event warehouses, CBD dispensaries, and working men’s clubs transform into fully fledged music venues for the day. Expect nothing less this year as the festival proudly delivers the event alongside independent venues, including Salt Market Social, The Exchange 1856, King Street Social, Three Tanners Bank, The Engine Room, Karma Coast, Tynemouth Social Club, Barca El Globo and The Watch House Museum.

To ensure maximum accessibility for this unmissable event, AST have once again collaborated with Go North East and North Tyneside Council to bring back the open top double decker bus service. Bus routes will be readily available before the festival to make sure audiences can get from venue to venue in time - with some additional surprises along the way!

A Stone’s Throw festival will make its final line-up announcement on March 1st, but for now, grab your tickets and any other information from https://astonesthrowfestival.co.uk/

Disabled Facilities: Certain venues are fully accessible but please visit the main festival website for more details.
