Abingdon Food and Drink Festival

Nestling in the lovely water meadows of the River Thames at Abingdon the Food and Drink Festival will showcase a hundred stalls. These will be some of the best providers in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties offering fresh, organic and local produce to delight a variety of tastes. A wide range of international cuisines and street food will also be represented reinforcing the diversity and inclusiveness of this important festival. Entry to the festival is free.

The grand final of the children’s bake off will be judged and the winners being presented at the festival.

As in previous successful Abingdon Food and Drinks festivals the folk singers ‘Seth Bye and Katie Griffin’ and ‘Muddy Johnson’ will once again be invited to entertain, by popular demand. They will be joined by celebrated local musicians to enthral the crowds.

The site at Rye Farm Meadow is a picturesque and popular river walk near the centre of Abingdon attracting large numbers of passing visitors on warm summer days. Entry to the festival will be free. Similar events here have attracted between 4,000 and 5,000 people.
