Some of the comments on previous Bury Folk Festivals

“I have to commend the top quality sound- really excellent for us on the stage and out in the audience. It is a really good little festival”

“The organisation before and on the day was excellent, the volunteers all very helpful and welcoming, the compères superb and the merchandising arrangements were excellent. The artists’ backstage area was spacious and fit for purpose and – the most important of all for artists – it was a great pleasure to have such a good sound and thanks to the sound guys for that. And, of course, a great line-up of acts which complemented one another but also provided good variety”

“It was a lovely day. Food was good and even catered for us veggies. I love the fact that you ‘keep it local'”

“Had a great time, thanks! The weather was stupendous, and spent my day listening to some top notch tunes. The atmosphere was relaxed and I hope everyone had a fab day”

“What a lovely festival! Great venue, warm welcome, nice people, good music, real ale, veggie food, and a stall to sell CDs. Can’t really think how you could improve it, ho yes and sunshine great work by soundmen. Time slots kept to Schedule, Well organised”

“It was a great day, what a fabulous little festival… don’t change a thing”
