Devizes Food & Drink Festival

24 eclectic food and drink events including dinners, lunches, visits, talks and tastings. Something for everyone!

The Festival starts with a specialist Street Market in the heart of Devizes. Artisan food producers, Pocket distillers, Street food, a Wadworth Pop-up Pub and live music. A day full of interest and excitement featuring local producers from salami to gelato. Food to eat, food to take home.

Events include a Murder Mystery dinner, a celebration of The Great British Pud, Tales and Food of Spain, a Speakeasy [Ronnie Shots], Bee Wilson discussing her first recipe book with Xanthe Clay, Dinner: The Musical - a three course meal to music, each course introduced and ingredients serenaded by epicurean musicians James Ure and Herbie Flavours and the ever-popular World Food - a chance for local residents who come from afar to show off their heritage dishes to a hungry public.

Other enticing events include Fermentation and Miso workshops, a Teddy Bears' Picnic for children, Dog Walk with a Picnic [dogs take their humans for a walk followed by a home-made picnic tea], a Vegan Cookery class/demo, two 'Producer Visits [a dairy farm and a distillery], three Dine Somewhere Different lunches [all held in unusual places - in a Bell Tower, at a Bric-a-Brac shop and in a Dance Studio] not to mention Come Dine with Me; a superb evening of epicurean dining in a stranger's house!
