Held in Melton Mowbray, the UK Rural Capital of Food and home of the famous Pork Pie and Stilton Cheese the festival offers a range of foods from the East Midlands and beyond.

A professional theatre will offer a range of demonstrations from celebrity chefs and others using produce that can be bought from within the festival itself.

Entry for children under 16 is free and there is a special Kids Zone where they can learn about food, taste new things and try making foods for themselves.

A major element of the festival is the Street Food Area where visitors can buy hot food from producers ranging from the traditional hog roast to foods from Asia, the Mediterranean, Caribbean, South Africa, etc. Vegetarians and Vegans are also catered for.

Besides pies, cheese, champagne, cakes, chocolate, wine etc visitors can buy high quality kitchen, cookware, knives etc. A number of traders will be demonstrating their wares and offering advice on their use.

The event is mainly undercover with convenient parking nearby.
