Details

The full line-up has now been announced for the Eastbourne Splash Point Jazz Festival on Sunday 30th September. Gigs will be in three venues in the 'East of the Pier' Heritage Area of Eastbourne: The Fishermen's Club on Royal Parade, Christ Church Seaside, and Leaf Hall Seaside, one of Eastbourne's most iconic historic buildings. Leaf Hall will also feature an exhibition by renowned jazz photographer Brian O'Connor. The venues are all within easy walking distance of each other, and festival-goers are encouraged to dip in and out of gigs in order to hear as wide a variety as possible throughout the day.

Eastbourne's 'East of the Pier' has its own fascinating story to tell, one that includes smuggling, the fishing industry and pioneering businessmen. It is also home to the Devonshire Collective, a creative and cultural hub with studios, makerspaces, workshops, a gallery and café for the benefit of artists, community members and the wider public.
“We see this as just the place to host a vibrant cultural event like a jazz festival!” says Programme Director Annette Keen, “and we’ve been careful to select bands which reflect the diversity of jazz including Latin, gypsy, contemporary, funk and swing”.

Stroller tickets (£50) are available at any Splash Point Jazz Club gigs, via WeGotTickets.com, or from Eastbourne's Tourist Information Office. All programme information is available on the website.

Disabled Facilities

Level access into Christ Church, stair lift at the Fishermen's Club, no access to concert room at Leaf Hall but ramp available to get into building for photographic exhibition and cafe.
