We are pleased to announce Leamington Spa's third Ukulele festival, back by demand after the first two fabulous events. Last year 2,500 people attended.

Entry is FREE, the date is Saturday 4th July 2015 at the Newbold Comyn Arms and its grounds. Because of the date, the fest this year will have a sprinkling of Americana and a taste of Hawaii. Everyone welcome.
There is a play area for children. It is only a few minutes walk to Leamington town centre. Motorhomes and caravans can park up overnight in the large free adjacent car parks.

The ukulele festival will start at 11.45 am Saturday with the glamorous cheerleaders The CrewGirls to kick-start the opening ceremony by the Mayor of Leamington assisted by Elvis. It will finish around 11pm at night.
The day will be filled with ukulele fun, with guest artistes, sets from various uke groups / clubs, workshops and a banjolele set by members of the George Formby Society. We have 15 acts, a mixture of ukulele groups and talented soloists. Headliners include:- Lynda Styne & Red Hot Duo, Chonkinfeckle, Bitter Jug Stompers, Gabriela, Michael Adcock, Matt Richards.....& many more

Bring your ukes and we will have a mass busk of songs at various times throughout the day. A songbook will be available.

In the evening there will be an open mic session in the large marquee, preceded by the headline acts.
On the night before (3d July), there will be a pre-fest knees-up and uke jam / open mic in the marquee from 7.30pm.

The 'Stiff and Stilted' stiltwalkers will add to the fun, and there will be stalls with a range of ukes and accessories, a fabulous raffle for high quality ukes, tombola, CDs, memorabilia etc. Outside there will be a raised covered stage area with pro PA and crew during the day, and one in the evening inside in the large wedding marquee. In case of rain, there are are two large bars and a big wedding marquee. Stables Bar. Festival guide booklets will be available, the festival crew will wear distinctive logo'd T-shirts and hi-vis 'Crew' jackets and will be on hand to help with any queries.
Food and drink will be available throughout the day inside and outside, with a hog roast outside and barbeque.
The Newbold Comyn Arms is the perfect venue, with large public grounds and patio areas and huge free car parks that also serves the nearby Leisure Centre, Golf Course large public park.
Once again Zoe's Place Baby Hospice will have a stall, tombola and collect on the day.
