It’s back! Livestock, Enfield’s answer to Glastonbury, is returning for the seventh year and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The annual community-organised, not-for-profit music festival takes place on July 21 in the enchanting and picturesque setting of Forty Hall farm and once again features something for everyone on three separate stages, complete with bars, food stands and children’s entertainment.

The event began as a small street party when residents built a stage at the end of their road for local musicians and has since burgeoned into north London’s most eagerly awaited musical extravaganza.
Despite the inclement weather, last year’s Livestock attracted almost 2,000 revellers and the festival, which runs from noon to 11pm, will feature over 20 high-calibre acts playing an eclectic mixture of rock, folk, funk, blues, gypsy swing, ska, soul, disco, Indy and just about every other genre you can think of.

Among those being welcomed back this year are the ever-popular Kubricks, once again topping the bill on the main stage; Spirit of Springsteen, Yossarian, California Screaming (comprising some of the UK’s leading session mussicians) and Boom la Tete. More than two-thirds of the performers are new to Livestock. They include rising Australian-born star Suzie Stapleton, Black Water County (led by a one-time busker who made national headlines), Funking Barstewards (personal favourites of the late, great Edwin Starr), Josephine and the Artizans (who recently played the Hay Festival) and Mojo Rising.

Early Bird tickets for this hugely popular all-day family spectacle have sold out but advance tickets are still on sale at £20 from As per last year, pay-on-the-day tickets will cost £25 while kids under-11 go free and there is a special price of £5 for those aged between 11 and 15.
