The Nor Lye Free Music and Beer Festival grew out of a thriving live music community at The Woodman Pub in North Leigh, pulling together vibrant local enthusiasm for live music and real ale! The festival, which began in 2008, grew from strength to strength over the following five years.

In 2013, the decision was made to move to a larger venue and Nor Lye Festival is now held on Eynsham Park estate. Tying together local musical talent and technical skill has since made the last few years a huge success and yet, because the festival is run by volunteers, it’s STILL free to attend!

We have always aimed to be firmly rooted in the local community as well as maintain a passion for musical diversity. Alongside some 40+ bands and acoustic acts over the years, we have also had fantastic music from wind bands; gospel choirs; sea-shanty choirs; and samba bands! In fact for us, it’s this very commitment to local community and musical diversity that makes North Leigh’s annual beer and music festival special.
