North Dorset 7s festival take place at North Dorset Rugby Club in Gillingham on 20th July. ND 7s Festival is a Rugby 7s & music festival in its 7th year, and over the past 6 years we have gone from strength to strength. We've hosted over 140 teams, welcomed 10,000 spectators and raised over £12,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young - and we don't intend to stop there!

The festival is held in aid of CRY UK. Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Since its formation in 1995, Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) has been working to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death. CRY is a charity very close to North Dorset RFC's heart after losing our club captain, Max Biles, in 2009 at the age of 29.

This year we have up to 44 teams taking part in Men's and Women's rugby 7s Tournaments, that is over 90 matches of rugby 7s between 10am and 6pm on 5 pitches, in our party tent live music will be played until the early hours from the ND Unit, Jemima, Danielle Sharp and our late night DJs Frazer Mitchell and Connor Watling You will be able to keep your energy levels up in our food court with stalls serving Pizza, Thai, Ice Cream, BBQ & Hog Roast throughout the day.

To help keep your thirst at bay we will have bars spread out across the site including our all new Gin & Cocktail bar, the clubhouse bar and the social bar. For the first time we have a Kids Zone for children. Keep checking our website & social media channels for the latest updates.
