Oakengates Carnival

On Saturday, June 10th, we will be coming together to celebrate Oakengates with a jam-packed
day of entertainment.

From 11:30am – 12pm we will be kicking off proceedings with our procession through
Oakengates. Line the streets to enjoy the carnival floats, vintage cars and tractors.
​
From 12pm-7pm enjoy a family fun extravaganza at the beautiful Hartshill Park.
​
Shropshire Festivals, in partnership with Oakengates Town Council, want to give your family a
brilliant day out, so all activities for kids will be free! With inflatables, circus performers, and face
painting, we’re sure they will have a fantastic afternoon.
​
As well as entertainment in the main ring and on the band stand, the live music stage will host
top local bands.
​
Our community event will get charities, local sports and community groups involved too!
​
Plus, we’ll have tasty street food and drinks, and lots of local businesses running stalls for you
to peruse.
​
We’re looking forward to rounding up a summer of celebrations with this key event for the
Oakengates area.
