About

Run from Robots, Mustard and the Monocle, Jim Lockey and the Solemn Sun, Salute the Magpie, Save the Dinosaurs, Senor Scorpion

With Rowdy Fest we have a completely new concept, an inclusive outdoor one day Festival specifically aimed at fresh, new and local Wiltshire wide music deliberately planned to appeal to young people.

Headline acts include Run from Robots, Mustard and the Monocle and Jim Lockey and the Solemn Sun. There are loads of local bands lined up to play including Salute the Magpie, Save the Dinosaurs, Senor Scorpion but the organisers want to give everyone out there a chance to perform so if you are a young Wiltshire band wanting a gig, then e-mail Sheer Music (kieranmoore@hotmail.co.uk) for your chance to perform at the Festival.

The event takes place on Saturday 21st July at Rowdeford School just off the A342 between Chippenham and Devizes and includes live music on three stages: headline acts, local bands and open mic, silent disco, festival food, eco activities, music workshops, holistic stuff and festival style stalls.

The Festival is encouraging young people aged 14 plus to come along without parents. It is a great opportunity for them to come and experience the freedom and fun of a festival but, because it is alcohol free, for parents to know that their kids will have a great time securely.
It will be really easy for people to get to (and much greener) with shuttle buses running from Calne, Chippenham and Devizes.

The Festival is being organised entirely by volunteers from Rowdeford Charity Trust to raise money towards the Eco Learning Project for young people in Wiltshire with special needs and is being sponsored by Devizes based Fantasy Radio and promoters Sheer Music.

Tickets for the Festival (£15 for under 18, £20 for 18 and over) are on sale through the website WeGotTickets.com.
