Staines-upon-Thames Day

Entering it's 7th year, Staines-upon-Thames Day is a hugely popular family fun day with plenty of events and activities for all ages to enjoy. With a live music stage and two performance arenas there will be plenty of entertainment as well as a craft market, food market, street food, pony rides, boat rides, duck races, community stalls, fairground rides, slides, face painting, children's crafts and more.

** Performance Arenas **

There will be two performance arenas, one in Memorial Gardens and one the High Street showcasing the talented performers from music, dance and sporting organisations. For the full timetable please visit www.stainesuponthamesday.co.uk.

** French Brothers Boat Trips **

40 minute return boat trips will depart on the hour from 11.00am until 4.00pm from the small landing stage in Memorial Gardens. There will be a charge for the boat trips.

** Duck Races **

The MidasPlus Big Duck Race will be at 14:00 with hundreds of decorated big ducks sponsored by businesses and individuals will race to the finish line for the chance to win GBP 500 for the charity of choice plus an overnight stay at the Runnymede Hotel with dinner, bed and breakfast.

The MidasPlus Little Duck Race takes place at 16:00 with small ducks racing to win a family ticket to Thorpe Park plus plenty of raffle prizes too. Visit midasplus.org.uk for more information on how to purchase your duck.

** Strong Man and Strong Woman Competition **

New for 2018 will be a Strong Man and Strong Woman Competition organised by White Noise Gym. With prowler pushes, tyre flips, atlas stones and more who will be crowned the Strongest Man or Woman in Staines-upon-Thames.
