BBC Young Musician of the Year - Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Voces8, Jess Gillam & Anthony Hewitt, Stephen Hough.

The Swaledale Festival offers a programme of music and art each year which will entertain, surprise and inspire. This year our Young Artists Platform comprises eight high quality concerts and a major music and visual art project entitled JAZZ! We present the reigning BBC Young Musician of the Year, a new production of the world's first ballet in the ideal venue of Richmond's Georgian Theatre Royal, and a host of stellar classical, world, folk and jazz artists.

As well as all this wonderful music we have outdoor Shakespeare, a fascinating film about Hieronymus Bosch, poetry, art exhibitions, workshops, talks and guided walks.

For the first time, under 25s can buy tickets to every event (except one) for £3.

Disabled Facilities

Many of our venues are old buildings, such as churches - please check the Swaledale Festival website for more information.
