Starts: 17th Jun 2017

Music Festival in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust

Start Date

17th Jun 2017

End Date

17th Jun 2017

The Burgage Tenbury Wells, WR15 8SF

Mike Sanchez and His Band, Arcadia Roots, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra, Arbaxas Ensemble

The 2016 Festival was a hard act to follow. However, we have again attracted a whole host of truly talented musicians who are helping support the fund raising in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The fabulous Mike Sanchez and His Band is our headliner this year, with exciting young local talents of Arcadia Roots and Abi K & the Roadsters. Sticky Wicket and Friends, Abraxas, Alternative Dubstep Orchestra, The Roustabouts and the Stone Mountain Sinners (which includes Sarah Warren).
Then, there is the Acoustic stage where there will be an eclectic mix of fresh new talent alongside one or two old hands. It will be a place to chill out to gentler but beautiful music in a peace and love atmosphere.
Rain Marquee ~ We will have a large marquee so that people can shelter from the sun if it gets too hot! (or rains)
Camping next to the festival and B&B's can be booked online or via Tenbury tourist Information centre.
Food is being provided for by some quality stallholders that came last year (yummy West Indian food and Vegan cuisine to name but a few)
In addition to the Beer tent and fresh coffee stall we will have a cocktail bar with drinks served out the back of an old surfing VW.
There will be crafts and poetry workshops for you to muse your way through, with Security, Stewards and First Aiders provided for your safety, and of course, a great sound system.

We are also running the Grapevine project to help support and develop local young musicians.
Workshops will be held during the festival in a dedicated marquee where they can perform and meet other musicians and professionals from the music industry. There is a link on our website for auditions on the 29th April and 3rd June. This is being supported by the Arts Council of England & equal vision.

Once again we are supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust which is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people with cancer aged between 13 and 24
