Cheltenham Jazz Festival returns in 2027 for six days of world-class live music, with performances taking place across a variety of venues throughout the elegant Regency town of Cheltenham. Centred around the iconic Montpellier Gardens Festival Village and Big Top, the festival showcases an exciting programme featuring internationally renowned jazz musicians, contemporary artists and emerging talent. The 2027 edition takes place from 28 April to 3 May, continuing its reputation as one of Europe's leading jazz festivals.

While jazz remains at the heart of the festival, visitors can enjoy a broad musical programme spanning soul, blues, funk, Latin, contemporary jazz and crossover performances. Alongside the main ticketed concerts, the popular free stage in Montpellier Gardens hosts live performances throughout the festival, while pubs, bars and venues across Cheltenham come alive with hundreds of additional performances as part of the town-wide "...around town" programme. This welcoming atmosphere makes the festival accessible to both dedicated jazz fans and those discovering the genre for the first time.

Beyond the music, Cheltenham Jazz Festival offers a fantastic opportunity to experience one of the UK's most attractive festival towns. Visitors can explore Cheltenham's independent shops, cafés, restaurants and beautiful Regency architecture between performances, creating a relaxed and sociable festival atmosphere. Whether you're attending headline concerts, enjoying free outdoor performances or simply soaking up the vibrant atmosphere around Montpellier Gardens, the 2027 Cheltenham Jazz Festival promises an unforgettable celebration of live music and culture.
