Gloworm Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a packed programme of family entertainment when it returns to Thoresby Park from 7–9 August 2026. The magical family festival will feature new attractions, live shows and themed activity zones across the weekend, including the first-ever appearance of SpongeBob SquarePants, who will be meeting families to celebrate the release of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.

A brand-new Adventure Zone will launch for 2026, bringing high-energy activities such as grass sledging, Olympic trampolining, parkour sessions, laser tag, a Drop Tower airbag jump and an expanded skateboarding area with Wizard of Skate. Live entertainment will also take place across the festival’s stages, with performances from children’s musician Nick Cope, known from Nick Cope’s Popcast, alongside appearances from Vengaboys Experience, Dene Michael, Pat Sharp with the Fun House Twins, Maddie Moate and Nigel Clarke.

Beyond the stages, families can explore a wide range of immersive themed areas across the festival site, including Mythic Adventure with dragon shows and storytelling, animal encounters with White Post Farm, forest-school style activities in Into the Woods, arts and crafts in Creative Play, circus workshops and performances, and Gloworm Beach with giant sand play and seaside-style fun. Meet and greets with characters and performers will also take place throughout the weekend.

Camping options include traditional pitches, campervan spaces and bell tent glamping, with campers receiving exclusive Friday night entertainment and early access to the festival site. All activities and entertainment are included in the ticket price.
