About

Annie Mac, Four Tet, Jamie Jones and DJ Koze.

One of the UK’s most influential ambassadors of new music, and Queen of Radio 1 specialist DJ collective, Annie Mac has been announced as an additional headline DJ for Lost Village festival, which makes its debut 23rd- 24th May in Lincolnshire.

Lost Village festival has quickly established itself as one of the most innovative and exciting new festivals to emerge in recent times. Taking place amongst an abandoned woodland village, this dynamic musical adventure encompasses house, disco, techno and indie, resonating from within areas such as The Chapel, Forgotten Cabin, The Ruins and the Lost Village Basecamp.

Just as excitement for the weekend-long party hits fever pitch Jaymo & Andy George and the Lost Village team pull more surprises out of the bag, unveiling Annie Mac as the Sunday headliner in The Ruins. As the First Lady of Radio 1's specialist music team, Annie is a relentless ambassador for new music, which is never more noticeable than during her passionate live DJ sets. Annie will close The Ruins stage on the Sunday of Lost Village, following live performances from Fickle Friends, Arkon Fly and more.

Berlin-based electronic indie sensation Roosevelt has also been added to Sunday's proceedings. The newest artist to emerge from the critically acclaimed Greco Roman imprint, Roosevelt is one of the most hotly tipped emerging names of 2015.

London party extraordinaires Krankbrother have also been added to the bill, joining a plethora of forward-thinking acts ranging from established powerhouses such as Four Tet, DJ Koze, Tale of Us and Jamie Jones, through to future stars such as Harvey Sutherland, LXURY, Tourist and Djebali. The ethos of Lost Village is one of discovery, not just the discovery of abandoned buildings amongst the towering trees, but discovery of new sounds and artists from around the world.

"We're really happy to be adding Annie to the bill. As a longtime friend we'd probably say it's her passion for music that we love most about her. There's no half measures with Annie, and that really shows when she's DJ-ing," commented Jaymo.

"The energy in The Ruins on the Sunday is going to be something special. Starting with blissful live performances and slowly building up and up as the day unfolds. Annie will have everyone in the palm of her hand when she brings it all to a close. It's going to be amazing!" continued Andy George.
