UB40, Scouting for Girls, Lucy Spraggan, Hoosiers, The Wonder Stuff, Five

UB40 are to conclude their European summer festival tour by headlining the Solihull Summer Fest. Other acts confirmed for the weekend include Scouting for Girls, Lucy Spraggan, The Hoosiers, The Voice winner Kevin Simm, 5ive, The Neales and The Wonder Stuff.

The two-day event will be held on August Bank Holiday weekend - Saturday 27th August and Sunday 28th August in Tudor Grange Park.
Each day will run from noon until 10pm and all ticket profits will go to the Help Harry Help Others fund, a local cancer support charity set up in memory of the late schoolboy Harry Moseley who died in 2011, aged 11.
Help Harry Help Others is unique in its efforts to not only help find a cure for Brain Cancer but to also provide support to anyone who is affected by any type of cancer.
The charity’s ultimate mission is to find a cure, but until then, they want to make a difference wherever they can. It has three mottos for helping anyone suffering with cancer: Help Cope, Help Care and Help Cure.

Harry’s mum, Georgina Moseley said: “Thanks to everyone for supporting this event, I am just in awe of everyone involved.”

UB40 band spokesman said: “We are looking forward to headlining the Saturday night of the first Solihull Summer Fest. We’ll be bringing the party home to conclude our European tour and summer festival season.”

The festival will have two bars, a Prosecco garden, a cocktail bar (provided by The Beech House) and a great range of catering vendors to include: burgers, paella, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian and street food.

This family friendly festival will have fair ground rides, mascots, face painting, live animals from The Jungle Ranger and much more.
