Beyond the urban sprawl of Bournemouth and Poole, Wimborne sits within rolling countryside, a charming market town nestled around the imposing Minster Church with its distinctive double towers. The network of winding streets is home to theatres, museums, local businesses and a generous helping of public houses. Once a year in early June the town is filled with Morris Dancers, Musicians, traders and in excess of 70,000 visitors as the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival takes over.

With almost 100 artists across 10 stages, the festival aims to deliver the finest and freshest folk music on the scene, showcasing artists who continue to push the genre to new limits and a wider audience.

Our main stage sits within the ancient Minster church under one of it's lofty double towers. The resting place of kings and queens now comes to life each year with the sound of top quality folk musicians with the already dramatic surroundings of the church lit up throughout.
