Heather On The Hill is a one-day family festival at the Royal Highland Centre, on the western edge of Edinburgh. It is presented as part of the Edinburgh Summer Sessions series.

The debut edition in August 2026 sold out, drawing around 30,000 people across three stages for sets from Cian Ducrot, Skerryvore, Brooke Combe, Cammy Barnes, Ella Henderson and NATI. Away from the stages there is face painting, storytelling, arts and crafts, kids yoga, messy play, a music and singing tent, funfair rides, roaming entertainers and a makers market of local artists and small businesses.
