State Fayre is a camping festival celebrating classic rock, country, folk and Americana culture, held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex. Launched in 2026, it was billed as the UK's biggest new camping festival and set out to bring together artists from both sides of the Atlantic.
The debut edition in June 2026 welcomed more than 50,000 people over three days, with headline sets from Kings of Leon, Alanis Morissette and The Lumineers, plus Counting Crows, Skunk Anansie, The Black Crowes, Elvis Costello and The Imposters, Stephen Wilson Jr, Sierra Ferrell, Kip Moore and Razorlight. Food is a big part of the weekend, with award-winning pitmasters and BBQ vendors in The FUME Pit, run with UK barbecue festival FUME.
The 2027 festival runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 June. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, with weekend camping, non-camping, early entry, VIP, campervan and all-ages options. The 2027 line-up has not yet been announced.
