About
Flatpack is a film and moving-image festival in Birmingham that began as a film night in a Digbeth pub and celebrated its 20th edition in May 2026.
The programme mixes UK premieres, documentaries, archive screenings, live music and audio-visual art with community workshops, with a strong focus on Birmingham and Midlands artists and stories.
Events pop up in unusual spaces across the city - past venues include MAC Birmingham, Birmingham Botanical Gardens and a Digbeth hub - and Flatpack also runs screenings year-round.
