Manchester Folk Festival is an urban multi-venue festival based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The festival brings together a diverse range of artists who represent the broad definition of contemporary folk music.

Manchester Folk Festival will raise a glass to ten years of the finest folk, roots and acoustic music in 2027. To celebrate, the festival has just announced an outstanding first wave of artists, including Spiers & Boden, Leveret, Pokey LaFarge, Catrin Finch & Aoife Ní Bhriain, Fionn Regan, Olivia Chaney, Steve Knightley, The Wellermen, Tarren, Kris Drever & Cahalen Morrison, Chris Brain, Rewild: Kantos Chamber Choir x Stevens & Pound, Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne & John Kirkpatrick and the Friday Night Ceilidh.

The festival will unfold across Band on the Wall, Hallé St Peter's, Hallé at St Michael's, The Smithfield Market Tavern, Cutting Room Square and multiple stages at Stoller Hall. First-release Festival Legends 2027 wristbands, which grant access to all festival shows across all four days, are on sale now.

Individual concert tickets, along with further artist announcements and details of sessions, Morris dancing and workshops, will be revealed this autumn. Mark your calendars for 10–13 March 2027, secure your passes and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of folk music next spring!
