About
Raindance Film Festival was founded in London in 1993 by Elliot Grove to champion independent and first-time filmmakers. The 2027 festival is its 35th edition, held in central London.
Audiences can expect independent features, documentaries, shorts and immersive work from around the world, alongside filmmaker Q&As, opening and closing galas and jury awards.
In 2026 the festival ran in June with Vue Piccadilly as its screening hub, and tickets and passes were sold through the festival's Eventive box office.
