Truck Festival is an independent music festival held each July at Hill Farm in Steventon, Oxfordshire. It was started in 1998 by the Bennett family, including brothers Robin and Joe of the band Goldrush, who felt the big mainstream festivals had become too commercial and predictable. The festival also gave birth to the Truck Records label in 1999.
The main stage was originally built from flatbed trucks, though the name actually came from a compilation CD. Now drawing around 30,000 people, Truck focuses on indie, rock and alternative music with some dance, and has hosted Foals, Wolf Alice, Two Door Cinema Club, The Libertines, Kasabian, The Kooks, IDLES and Sam Fender. The 2026 edition featured The Wombats, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, Primal Scream, The Maccabees and Friendly Fires.
Truck has always prided itself on its intimate atmosphere and community spirit on a working farm. The 2027 festival runs from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 July, with camping on site.
